Blooming

This rose bush was a gift to team captains for Race for the Cure. It bloomed yesterday and made me smile. I believe in symbolism and this one was so clear. This is a sign that life grows, changes and is beautiful. It tells me to stop for a moment and smell the roses. It also tells me the plant is very hardy cause I can kill a silk flower! No green thumb here, just PINK.

  1. AnnMarie - just back from vacation but have been following along and am glad to see you pushing through this. Hang in there. I also shared your Pinktakular comment with Jim Sollecito. It's nice to know that his thoughtful gift is helping provide the joy and encouragement for which it was intended. I see many more blooms on the way - enjoy each and every one of them. -deb

    1. I am so glad you wrote that because I could not remember what the flowers name was. Please tell Jim I love it. Someone at Komen sent me lovely flowers and it made my day too. This has been one hell of a journey. Through all the doc appoints I have been recruiting people for the race, Cure or Bust may need the WHOLE fair this upcoming year!

    2. LOL! Been awhile since I had one of those! That rose is beautiful! I can't grow a thing. Well, I am not doing badly with children and pets, but they COMPLAIN when they get hungry!

How is the pain? <3 Thinking of you...
