This rose bush was a gift to team captains for Race for the Cure. It bloomed yesterday and made me smile. I believe in symbolism and this one was so clear. This is a sign that life grows, changes and is beautiful. It tells me to stop for a moment and smell the roses. It also tells me the plant is very hardy cause I can kill a silk flower! No green thumb here, just PINK.
AnnMarie - just back from vacation but have been following along and am glad to see you pushing through this. Hang in there. I also shared your Pinktakular comment with Jim Sollecito. ReplyDeleteI am so glad you wrote that because I could not remember what the flowers name was. Please tell Jim I love it. Someone at Komen sent me lovely flowers and it made my day too. This has been one hell of a journey. Through all the doc appoints I have been recruiting people for the race, Cure or Bust may need the WHOLE fair this upcoming year!
